Wild Animals - Cheetahs

What are cheetahs?
Cheetahs are  a large feline and are the fastest land mammal on the planet. They can run up to 75 mph!

What do they eat?
Cheetahs are carnivores so they eat the young of larger mammals such as wildebeasts and zebras. Sometimes they hunt adult mammals but only when they are in groups.

Their behaviour.
Females live alone, except when they are raising cubs which they would do on thie own.Cubs must learn many lessons such as knowing how to hunt and how to avoid other predators. At eighteen months, the mother leaves the cubs, so they then form a group of siblings. At about two years old, the female siblings leave the group, and the young males remain together for life.
