Pets - Hamsters

What are hamsters?
Hamsters are rodents that belong to the subfamily called "Cricetinae". They are commonly kept as housepets in familys.

What do they eat?
Hamsters tend to eat shop sold food but can be given food such as vegetables, fruits, seeds, and nuts.

Their behaviour.
Hamsters can become violent if they are put in a cage with another hamster or they can become mates with them. If they become mates, they may get depressed when they are separated from eachother.
